Brooks Curry

The Varsity Golf team ended a very successful season Thursday with the fourth place finish.  The team compiled a record of 35 wins and 4 losses with a perfect 12 and 0 record for the regular Metro-Buckeye Conference season.  Highlights included a 19 and 1 regular season record, 1st place in both the Monroe Invitational (Weatherwax) and MCS Invitationals (Brown's Run CC), 2nd place finishes in the MBC tournament and the Northridge invitational, 3rd  place finishes in the Waynesville tournament, the the Brookville Tournament and the Sectional Tournament.  The team was ranked as high as 4th in the Cincinnati area coaches poll.

Brooks Curry was the low individual not on a team for the District tournament and will play the 2 day State OHSAA golf tournament on the OSU's Scarlet course on Oct. 16th and 17th. Last year he was part of the MCS team that finished 11th in the state tournament and he finished 6th overall as an individual.  He his hoping to finish higher this year.
